Lately I’ve started tinkering about some old ideas that was initially meant for short films. While my current job at GRIN takes up allot of my time I have to admit that I don’t have the energy to do any big projects on the side. On the other hand I could use the plots and ideas in a new medium. Books for children could be a perfect project to do in my spare time. I get to tell my stories and use my CG knowledge to illustrate the stories, this could be seen like a type of storyboard for something that might make it back in short film genre in the future. Anyway the story I would like to experiment with is Joel, a frog that lives in a old shoebox. Joel dates back to 2001 when me and Tobias made a short demo of Joel and also a promotion film with the main characters.

The story is written but has to be adjusted to fit a book of 32 pages. In meanwhile I will do some render tests of his house during different times throughout the day. I’m so glad I managed to dig up these old files hidden on a unmarked CD .
